Dec 12, 2002: Arabeyes Presents at Jordan's OSS Conference

Arabeyes, the Arab community's first Arabic Linux Development project, has been invited to participate and present at Jordan's premier Open Source Software (OSS) Conference. The conference sponsored by the Jordanian Ministry of ICT (Information Communictation and Technology), Estarta Solutions, General Computers & Electronics (GCE), Microsoft, RedHat, Specialized Technical Services (STS) and United Business Machines (UBM) and is supported by the USAID-funded AMIR Program.

The conference will be held Dec 15-16, 2002 in Amman, Jordan. Arabeyes.org has been in the forefront of Linux Arabization and Development since its inception early 2001 and has successfully established a solid foundation of an increasingly growing community of enthusiasts, developers and users.
