:you are right, but as we are making a technical dictionary here, only the 2nd example is relevant. BTW, if you are Saad please log in and confirm the last edit, or we'll revert it back --[[User:Hosny|Hosny]] 14:11, 20 December 2006 (PST)

what would be the translation for "unreachable" be ? i find وصول good, but when compared to reachable ... lets say an imaginary error message says (unable to access /mnt/nfs/file1, xx.xx.xx.xx is unreachable)! and another thing, is the word access used in contexts like an object is actually reachable, but not accessable ? like a file which user doesnt have read permission on it! is دخول an alternative ? (well, i dont like the word دخول)...--Maysara.abdulhaq 03:38, 14 December 2006 (PST)

  • I found it translated as نفاذ in many of old arabeyes translations, what do you think about it ? --Hosny 10:42, 14 December 2006 (PST)

I think we can use both of them

example: Access to the city = الوصول إلى المدينة Access to a file = النفاذ إلى الملف
