- It was تاريخ بدأ الحساب then Mr Saad suugested العصر, it is ok, but some one was voting for the old word, so we have to discuss it first before we change it. That is why I reverted it, Mr Saad changed the word without waiting for any one else to confirm his suggestion, that is all. --خالد 22:53, 29 December 2006 (PST)
العصر الحديث = Modern Epoch
العصر الحجري = Stone Epoch ( it is the time origin of the first time man started using stone tools and ...)
العصر البرونزي = It is the time origin when mankind first introduced bronze in manufacturing tools
French Equivalent= Epoque moderne, epoque du fer , epoque du bronze etc...
