Sep 10, 2003: Arabeyes hosts a DICT server

Arabeyes would like to announce the launch of an online English/Arabic dictionary based on the DICT protocol.

By pointing your Dict client to dict.arabeyes.org (port 2628), you can get the translation to more than 83,500 words. Use it for your everyday translation needs or when you are localizing applications (do note that its for single terms and not sentences or phrases). Since dict.arabeyes.org keeps a record of all unknown words/queries, use it as much as you can to help us improve the underlying vocabulary.
