Do please read the interview (available in both English and Arabic) in its entirety in hopes of better grasping how single individuals can make such a profound dent in the Arabization effort. Mr. Medini, an avid translator, was a prominent force in setting a once unthinkable precedence by reaching 100% translation status on Gnome in a remarkably short period of time. Arafat's efforts have clearly shown that where there is a will and a burning urge to get things done time and effort will not be in short supply and that even a single person can and does make a huge difference. Arafat, who has been jokingly credited with MadSpeak(tm), has never shied from speaking his mind and standing up to what he believes is the right direction on a myriad of topics.
